States with the highest average price of diesel were Taraba (N254.29), Benue (N251.67) and Borno (N245.00).
 
Average price paid by consumers for automotive gas oil (diesel) decreased by -0.01% month-on-month and increased by 2.09% year-on-year to N229.78 in January 2020 from to N229.81 in December 2019.

States with the lowest average price of diesel were Rivers (N205.31), Delta (N210.91) and Bauchi (N216.21).
