NBS-ILO-FMLE 2022 National Child and Forced Labour Survey

The National Bureau of Statistics, in collaboration with the International Labour Organisation and the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, has commenced the 2022 National Child and Forced Labour Survey.
The survey kicked off with the Training of Trainers Workshop, which began today, 28th March, 2022.
The National Child and Forced Labour survey will provide and improve already existing information on Child and Forced Labour and assess the extent, characteristics, causes and consequences of the involvement of children, aged 5-17 in working activities, determine the prevalence of children’s work, child Labour, hazardous work, unpaid household services by sex, age group and area of residence (urban/rural).
