Selected food price watch data for November 2019 reflected that the average price of 1 dozen of Agric eggs medium size decreased year-on-year by -2.90% and increased month-on month by 0.31% to N463.91 in November 2019 from N462.46 in October 2019 while the average price of piece of Agric eggs medium size (price of one) decreased year-on-year by -2.88% and increased month-on-month by 1.65% to N41.18 in November 2019 from N40.51 in October 2019.
The average price of 1kg of tomato decreased year-on-year by -14.66% and increased month-on-month by 7.64% to N251.21 in November 2019 from N227.50 in October 2019.
The average price of 1kg of rice (imported high quality sold loose) increased year-on-year by 18.27% and month-on-month by 16.44% to N445.45 in November 2019 from N382.57 in October 2019.
Similarly, the average price of 1kg of yam tuber decreased year-on-year by -15.03% and increased month-on month by 13.05% to N203.20 in November 2019 from N179.75 in October 2019.
