Selected Food Prices Watch (November 2017)
Selected food price watch data for November 2017 reflected that the average price of 1 dozen of Agric eggs medium size increased year-on-year by 7.52% and decreased month-on-month by -2.06% to N 463.ll in November 2017 from N472.85 in October 2017 while the average price of piece of Agric eggs medium size(price of one) increased year-on-year by 4.53% and decreased month-on-month by - 2.95% to N40.82 in November 2017 from N42.06 in October 2017.
The average price of 1kg of tomato increased year-on-year by 8.09% and decreased month-on-month by -1.76% to N286.39 in November 2017 from N291.53 in October 2017.
The average price of 1kg of rice (imported high quality sold loose) decreased year-on-year by -12.11% and month-on-month by -2.19% to N360.83 in November 2017 from N368.90 in October 2017.
Similarly, the average price of 1kg of yam tuber increased year-on-year by 1.32% and decreased month- on-month by -5.08% to N212.27 in November 2017 from N223.63 in October 2017.
