The sample size comprise of 5% of the target population of children under five years it is a multi-stage sampling cluster.
The enoculators could not cover the entire state at the proposed day, two more day had to be included to be able to mop up the exercise
Some of the health facilities was ground due to no health work to take up the task
The response rate was high, with the few exception who reject their wards from being vaccinated

The questionnaire was designed in collaboration with FMOH, and other stakeholders.
At both central- and state-level trainings, each question in the questionnaire was reviewed and role-played and possible challenges were identified and addressed.

The supervisors reviewed each completed questionnaire immediately after the interview session ended and identified mistakes which were corrected before the respondent left the site.
The enumerators are trained in stages,- the Federal, state, and Local Government staff are trained at their area of operation
they are taken through the tool and mode of reporting. The interview takes about 10 minutes for an individual. Before the commencement of the activities, their is always a mobilization exercise to inform the populace in the various means of communication, and during the exercise any reacting is recued by the stand by recue operators. the field team has been tremendious in giving feed back on unusual occurence on the field. the interviews goes on in any language the respondense are confortable with and in some cases interpreter are used. The supervisors act as backups to the team in case of any problem on the field
