Selected food price watch data for October 2018 reflected that the average price of 1 dozen of Agric eggs medium size increased year-on-year by 2.1% and month-on month by 2.2% to N482.9 in October 2018 from N472.73 in September 2018 while the average price of piece of Agric eggs medium size(price of one) decreased year-on-year by -0.8% and increased month-on-month by 1.4% to N41.73 in October 2018 from N41.17 in September 2018. The average price of 1kg of tomato increased year-on-year by 5.2% and decreased month-on-month by - 6.6% to N306.59 in October 2018 from N328.26 in September 2018. The average price of 1kg of rice (imported high quality sold loose) increased year-on-year by 1.1% and month-on-month by 0.5% to N373.04 in October 2018 from N371.32 in September 2018. Similarly, the average price of 1kg of yam tuber increased year-on-year by 12.8% and decreased month-on month by -10.0% to N252.21 in October 2018 from N280.28 in September 2018.
